Your RMS Data
The search engine can map onto any RMS datafile no matter how complicated its internal structure. In addition no
changes are needed to your existing application.
The search engine works with existing applications but only accesses the file in a readonly mode. With the aid of the Netmap
utility you can tell the search engine that every field is effectively a primary key regardless of how many keys are on the
file already. This is highly useful in an Intranet mode as your users are less likely to know about your internal indexing structures.
Mapping is easy and that's all you have to do everything else is automatic.
